A Student Council is in place and 14-19 students encourage younger pupils to be involved in debates and discussions about their expectations of the school. Students have been involved in the process of choosing outdoor equipment, discussed the issue of bullying, and they have begun to think about improvements to the school lunch system and links to healthy schools.
