ROAD SAFETY

We recently had some excellent Road Safety sessions delivered to the primary classes in school. Road Safety GB published an article on the use of Makaton signing in road safety sessions for all primary students; referencing our school as a specific example.

See the article here: http://roadsafetygb.org.uk/news/makaton-signs-help-road-safety-team-communicate-with-special-needs-children/

Science investigation- what happens when we freeze squash? Does it stay a liquid or change to a solid? Is the change reversible or irreversible?

Today we learnt about the Road Safety Code. We need to: Think, Stop, Look, Listen and Hold Hands when crossing a road.

Maths/Cooking

Maths/Cooking 1 We enjoyed applying our skills in measuring weight

Hello,

I have enjoyed teaching Lime Class immensely. We have been learning about money and measuring in maths. The children really enjoyed a trip to Tesco to buy some fruit with a budget of 50p. They all stuck within budget and some even worked out the correct change. I have loved going to Forest School with the children on a Tuesday afternoon. We particularly enjoyed toasting marshmallows and whittling our own sticks. I will really miss Lime Class, it has been great fun and you have worked really hard.
