It is an optional project aimed as a fun activity for you to work on with your child. It can be anything you want- send in photos, do a drawing, make something. Some suggestions are given on the homework sheet to give you some ideas. Please have fun doing the project!

Elm class are celebrating Anti Bullying Week by taking part in lots of fun activities. So far we have had a go at Mindful Meditation which most of us found very relaxing. We've played a True and False game all about bullying and done lots of work about our own emotions and being kind and respecting each other. Other activities we will doing include learning an Anti Cyber Bullying rap and performing it, participating in Children in Need activities and events and even making a kindness quilt- keep your eyes peeled for photos coming soon!
We enjoyed celebrating Diwali- the festival of light. Our butternut squash and spinach korma with chapattis, which we made, was delicious! Niki enjoyed us giving her a bowl.
We really enjoyed our Be Internet Legends assemblyTuesday 25th September. Google and ParentZone came into school for an assembly all about e-safety for all of Key Stage 3 and 4. It was great fun and we all got involved. elm class have enjoyed exploring Interland on the iPads- it is full of fun games all about how we can keep safe on line. Elm class are using Be Internet Legends in our Computing lessons.

Elm class are celebrating Roald dahl day with a whole week of fun activities and lessons. So far we have created our own Quentin Blake style self portraits, created Giant peach recipes and helped the B.F.G with some tricky maths problems about his dream jar shelves.
We have lots more fun activities for the rest of the week so keep your eyes peeled for some pictures of what else we have been up to!
